Halloween Designs Available Now

I have a few cute little Halloween prints available on spoonflower now. Since the spooky season is getting near I though I would share them with you! I have created a Halloween collection that contains them all. Or you can check them out below. If the design is too large or you would like a different colour, please just ask! You can find my contact details on the  contact page . Modern Retro Circles Halloween Large I love the simplicity of these little circle spiders. A lovely retro vibe that would bring some colour and cute warmth while still being perfect for Halloween! This is the most recent design of this list and was designed for a design challenge. In fact, now that I think about it, almost all of these will have been designed for various design challenges. Spoonflower Tax for Non-USA Residents

I finally noticed that since July this year Spoonflower has been withholding 30% of my earnings. As New Zealand is part of a tax treaty with the United States of America, and I had never had income withheld before, I had no idea why this started. This is what it looks like if you are wanting to check yours. After emailing Spoonflower I learnt that... "Our system has updated to reflect the correct treaty status present on your income tax form. You are seeing these withholdings because the Tax Treaty Benefits portion of your income tax form is incomplete or you are not within a tax treaty country." So my next problem was getting back in to the Avalara software to submit a new W-8BEN form. You will be given login codes but just remember that if you have logged in before you will have been prompted to change your password. So, the password code may not work and you will have to remember the password you chose. That took me a little longer than I'd like to admit to realize! Bu...

Autumn Pheasant Scene - Top 100

I am excited to announce that my Autumn Pheasant Scene made the top 100 in the Spoonflower Autumn Hunt Club design challenge. It came in 73rd with 110 votes and 179 favourites.  I loved drawing this design. I am a sucker for bold graphic style designs with bit of texture to add depth. It's always tough trying to decide when enough is enough. I can get caught in a trap of adding more and more details or elements, only to remove them later. Often I find less is definitely more! Autumn colours are not my usual choice but I really enjoyed working with them. That is why I love design challenges! Always pushing me outside my comfort zone and forcing me to try new things. I hope you like it too!

Designs Sold - August 2025

I feel a little comeback starting...fingers crossed! The sales are starting to trickle in again with 9 sales this month. Not quite the back to the high of 24 in February but I have hope. Solid Colour Soft Light Grey Blue Green Hexcode B6C9C4 Germany (XS) Spray Paint Hearts Flag Colours   Germany (XL) Spray Paint Hearts Flag Colours  Aeroplanes Outline in Diamond Formation Mid Blue Dogs on pink Small Textured Fish Large Green (M) Preppy Gingham Pink Green Blue Minimalist Textured Chevron in Pink (L) Preppy Modern Floral with Bows Art Deco Scalloped Flowers Teal Pink on Dark Teal Medium Wow, that took a while. So much variety in this months sales. I think I might need to come up with a grid design to make it a little less scrolling for you all!

Designs Sold - July 2025

Well it has been a little while, the sales have continued to drop and motivation has been a little bit low. But lets get back on the horse and play a little catch up! July had a total of five small sales, which is better than the three in June. Muted Geometric Circle Flowers Soft Grey Blue  Serene Soft Green Cream Wave Swirl Design Kazakhstan Spray Paint Hearts Flag Colours  Aeroplanes Solid in Diamond Formation Mid  Croissant Soft Textured Medium  Well that is a very blue themed month. I love all these designs, but I feel like I might need to make a few more aeroplanes...watch this space!

Designs Sold - June 2025

Here is my monthly update of design sales for June 2025. In order of sales, and you might even notice a repeat from last month. The deco style flowers are definitely popular. There is a definite drop in sales at the moment. Hopefully Spoonflower sorts out the printing issues of late, and we get back to better sales numbers! You can see the tracking graph here . Floral Hearts Square in Grey Yellow & White Small I love this collection called Floral Hearts . I have both light and dark colour ways, three different layouts in three sizes. There are 44 options in total! The texture of the brush strokes and the simplicity of the designs really speak to me. I have a more simple style and often feel less is more. Art Deco Scalloped Flowers Purple Dark Medium  Deco Dandelion Flower Scallop in Yellow Blue on a White Medium Three sales in the whole month, not great, hopefully next month improves!!

Featured Design - Large Soft Flowers

I love this simple yet textured design. I have always been drawn to symmetry and it seems I am not alone in my search for order! I particularly like a symmetrical design featuring curves and more rounded elements. My  Art Deco Flowers Collection is another favourite of mine, and they feature well in my sales. The close up shots of the wallpaper on Spoonflower shows the texture details beautifully. It just makes me want to reach out and touch it! Doesn't it make a beautiful duvet cover? Such a lovely soft colour, giving me cottage core vibes while also fitting into a muted beach them too. I hope that you love it as much as I do!

Are Spoonflower Sales Still Dropping?

I have seen quite a bit of discussion on Spoonflower Facebook groups about a decline in sales. I have definitely noticed a drop in my sales over the last few months. But knowing how time flies and unless I actually check the figures, I may have a skewed view on sales numbers. Geoometric Tulips Teal Small Aren't these little tulips cute! Anyway, back on topic... I thought it might be time for a graph! I know I like maths a little more than I should, but just like a spreadsheet or checklist, I can't help myself! If you're wondering, in New Zealand we call it Maths, yes with the 's'. I have heard more and more younger Kiwi's calling in Math. I'm guessing they have heard it on TV/online as most of our content comes from the US. Well that took a lot longer than I expected! A few little hiccups with getting the data copy and pasted from Spoonflower without having to type it all. But I made it and learned a few new formulas too. I can see a fairly solid drop from M...
